Find out more →Indigo Fox is an independent UK-wide business strategy consultancy. I help founders, teams and values-led organisations clarify priorities, strengthen their business models and find practical, creative ways forward.

Perhaps your business isn't growing as you'd hoped, or you're finding it harder to compete in a changing market. The systems and ways of working that once served you well might be holding you back, while new technologies and opportunities seem to be moving faster than you can keep up.
You might be looking to improve performance, explore new ways of working, bring fresh ideas to life, or prepare your business for its next chapter. Perhaps your team needs clearer direction, or you simply need to understand what's working, what isn't, and where the opportunities lie.
Sometimes it takes someone outside the business to see things differently. I bring an independent perspective, commercial experience and an understanding of people to help you make sense of the challenges, identify opportunities and build a more competitive, resilient and future-ready business.

I've spent nearly 20 years working inside businesses, making decisions, managing people and resources, and turning ambitious ideas into practical results. I understand the pressures of running an organisation, balancing competing priorities and finding ways to keep moving forward.
That experience has taught me that successful change isn't just about having the right strategy. It's about understanding how a business really works, recognising where things could be better, and bringing people with you.
I combine commercial experience with an understanding of people and organisational behaviour to help businesses see the bigger picture, challenge established thinking and make decisions that strengthen their future.
Meet Indigo FoxSome challenges call for a focused project. Others need a proper look at the whole business, or someone independent to think things through with each month. These are three ways we might start.
Step back from the day-to-day, disentangle competing priorities and agree the next practical moves.
A joined-up picture of the business to inform major decisions, leadership transitions and governance.

These are examples of my experience, not limits on who I work with. Every organisation is different; the starting point is the challenge in front of you.

At an important founder transition, Indigo Fox created an independent Business Snapshot to bring the organisation’s story, leadership, finances, operations and commercial direction into one joined-up overview for prospective non-executive directors.
Drawing on conversations with leadership, employee feedback, financial and operational analysis and wider market perspectives, the work set out key themes and questions to inform board discussions and strategic planning.
Read the project storyIndigo Fox exceeded all expectations. Sarah’s Business Snapshot was honest, innovative and exceptional. It has become our go-to company document, helping us think through our next steps and plan our ongoing strategy. Her continued support has been invaluable.

For nearly 20 years, I’ve worked with major corporates, start-ups and community interest companies (CICs), including award-winning businesses. My experience covers large-scale immersive events, design start-ups and fast-moving consumer goods businesses with complex supply chains. Having managed businesses and operations myself, I know the pressures of balancing people, budgets, partnerships and day-to-day decisions — not just advising from the outside.
I have a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Psychology. I take a humanistic, people-centred approach: listening properly, asking the important questions and having honest, sometimes frank conversations about what needs to change.
Because I've been involved in running organisations as well as planning for them, I look at how decisions affect the whole business. If a project needs additional expertise, I can involve people I know and trust.
I enjoy working with passionate people and businesses who want to make a positive, meaningful difference to people’s lives, their communities or the wider world. Based in Penryn, Cornwall, I work locally and across the UK, including with creative and purpose-led organisations, directly with owners, founders and CEOs — on one-off projects or through ongoing monthly support.
